Tissue Regeneration

Master’s research focused on uncovering the mechanisms of kidney regeneration for potential biomedical applications. Utilized vascular transgenics, immunofluorescence, and computational tools including machine learning to visualize and analyze morphogenetic processes. Conducted in collaboration with the National University of Colombia and the Ministry of Science, the project explored the role of extracellular matrix protein fibronectin in vertebrate craniofacial, mandibular, and renal development, employing advanced histological, RNA expression, and molecular biology techniques.
